Fleur De Sel Caramels
Caramels. Simple, familiar, and the perfect small treat for anyone with a taste for something sweet...and in this case, a little salty.
We've taken the simple caramel and elevated it with heavy cream, a generous dose of vanilla seed, then folded in fleur de sel, a French sea salt. The larger, more delicate structure of sea salt allows it to melt effortlessly along with the caramel, and helps to define the sweet, buttery flavor of the whole piece.
These have been wrapped in irridescent cellophane, making for a beautiful presentation. En masse they look like the mediterranean sea at high noon. Fantastic on a dessert table, or boxed as a guest favor.
